Beverley,There really isn't a lot of difference in the sizes. It appears that in your country they run on a 6 months exchange. Instead of a 0-6 months sizes we have a 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6/9 months. These are age appropriate. If the child is larger than the average then you would need to move up in the size.
The infant line runs 12 months, 18 months and 24 months.
The toddler line runs 2T-4T. 2T approx 2 years old, 3T approx 3 years old and so on. These are cut a bit slimmer as normally the child is no longer in diapers.
